Performing Reliability Prediction Calculations

Once all your Analysis data has been entered, you perform a calculation to see the resulting failure rate of your analysis. To do this, click Calculate from the Sidebar. 

The Calculate Reliability Prediction dialog appears. (Note: If you do not have any Mission Profiles defined, the Mission Profile section will not appear.) 

Select the Failure Rate metrics you want to calculate.

If applicable, select My Calculations to perform your own custom Reliability Prediction calculations. For  more information on custom Reliability Prediction calculations, see the Creating Your Own Reliability Prediction Calculations topic.

If you have at least one Mission Profile defined and want to perform Mission Profile calculations, select the Mission Profile failure metrics you want to compute and the Mission Profile to use.

Click Calculate to perform reliability prediction calculations.

Once complete, your calculation results will be displayed.

Click Close to close the Calculation Results dialog. 

You can review the failure metrics for the Parts on the Parts Table, and the failure metrics of the Analysis Tree Items on the Properties forms.
