Using Repeated Blocks

Repeat Blocks in Relyence RBD allow you to use the same system component in multiple locations in a diagram. Compared to Subdiagram blocks, where an identical copy of each Subdiagram is created and used in calculations, Repeat Blocks are not copies of each other. Rather, they are the identical component modeled in multiple locations.

To insert a Repeat Block, click Insert>Repeat from the toolbar. The Select Block to Repeat dialog appears.

Review the available blocks in the table or use the Field and Find fields to locate a specific block to repeat.

Once the block to repeat is identified and the row is selected in the table, click OK.

The repeated block is added and all repeat blocks display the black repeated block icon in the bottom right corner to indicate each as a repeated block.
