This is a full-time development position working in the Microsoft environment creating software solutions for complex analytical and engineering applications. The work is challenging and rewarding and offers you the ability to contribute through the entire product life cycle from design, through development, and deployment. Responsibilities
- Design and development of math-based analytical calculation engines for analyzing complex systems for use in the engineering field
- Development in latest version of Visual Studio, ASP.NET, and C#
- Creation of design documents
- Software design and development of complex mathematical solutions for engineering problems
- Creation of test cases for complex mathematical problems
- Performing software testing
- Producing test case results and benchmarks
- Technical support of customers and sales team
- Research latest developments in reliability engineering field
- Publishing research papers, if desired
Requirements
- BS or MS in Math, Physics, Engineering, or similar
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- Knowledge of complex mathematical techniques such as Monte Carlo simulation and Weibull analysis
- Knowledge of programming techniques and principles
- Strong communication skills
